Course
opened for
play in 2005
and quickly
became a
favorite
among Utah
county
golfers.
Conveniently
located just
minutes from
I-15 and the
main exits
for both
cities,
Sleepy Ridge
is 7017
yards of
quality golf
at
unbelievable
low rates.
The course
was crafted
by Matt Dye
of Dye
designs, the
nephew of
famed golf
architect
Pete Dye.
While Pete
did not lay
this one out
himself, the
quality
routing of
the course
is apparent
form the
first hole.
The front
nine opens
with a
string
strong
holes, that
will test
you for
getting
going on the
right foot,
holes demand
plenty of
different
shot options
and will
prepare you
for number 8
a medium par
4 with a
large lake
guarding the
right side.
The real
teeth of
Sleepy Ridge
awakens on
the back
nine, and
the
excitement
jumps a bit
with the par
4 11th. A
beautiful
hole from
the tee, and
will make
you think
about how to
best
navigate
this one.
The inward
nine winds
through
wetlands,
and provides
many
strategic
shot options
all the way
into the
clubhouse.
