Meadow Brook

is Salt Lake
County owned
and operated
public
course. This
traditional,
classic
style,
tree-lined
golf course
is an
enjoyable
design for
beginning
and
intermediate
golfers, but
still
provides a
nice
challenge
for better
golfers from
the back
tees. Meadow
Brook is a
perfect
golf course
for those
who enjoy
walking, and
its central
location in
the heart of
the Salt
Lake Valley
is easily
accessible
from
anywhere in
the valley.
Most of the course is quite flat with little elevation changes. Tall
trees,
bunkers and
water
hazards make
for a mature
golf course
feel and a
great test
of golf
without the
frustration
of some
newer course
designs.
Signature holes stand out as the par 5's, the second hole is a tree-lined,
sweeping dog-leg left with a difficult approach shot guarded by a small lake
shrouding the front of the green. Only the well-struck approach shots will find
this green.
The par-5
18th is the
signature of
the back
nine, the
tee shot is
quite
intimidating
from the
back tees
with a tough
carry to the
fairway,
water lurks
everywhere
off the tee.
If you can
carry the
river you
leave a nice
230 yard
approach
into a large
front to
back sloped
