Provo, Utah Golf Courses
are coming into the fore front of
Utah golf with the addition of some
fantastic new golf courses.
While Provo is not known for the
golf , the area is home to some of
the best in the state.
Starting with the enigmatic
Thanksgiving Point
Golf Club, with its demanding
layout and arduous Johnny Miller design, the
golf course is one of the best in the area,
but be prepared to bring your best game to
this track.
Utah county and the Salt Lake area is in for
a sweet surprise with the opening of the
Gene Bates designed
TalonsCove Golf Club.
This 6931Yard masterpiece lies on the west
shores of Utah Lake and features
jaw-dropping views of the lake and "Timp"
from the entire course.
Just over the hill from TalonsCove
is another delightful tidbit of golf
and another attraction for the area.
The Ranches
Golf Club designed by
Ron Garl is a spectacular
challenging 7,396 yard 18-hole
championship facility featuring a
western theme. Carved from the
native prairie, the course’s 220
acres present golfers a true
links-style experience.
Across the valley and tucked up by
the mountains is
Cedar Hills
Golf Club, a Graves
and Pascuzzo design that is
absolutely beautiful and has some of
the finest holes along the Wasatch
