Logan, Utah located in the northern corner
of the state, and in the heart of the Cache
Valley offers a wonderful escape from the
heat of the Salt Lake Valley. Usually a 20
degree difference in temperature, the area
is a refreshing mountain retreat. While not
especially known for golf, there are golfing
treats in this beautiful valley that all
should know about and take the short,
beautiful 2 hour drive to Logan.
With four golf courses in the area, three
public and one private facility, the golfing
scope ranges from a laid-back nine hole
course to a top-notch private country club.
The two main attractions,
Birch Creek Golf
Course and
Logan River Golf
Course offer two completely
different experiences. One course has been
consistently ranked by Golf Digest as one of
the countries "Best Municipal Golf Course",
Birch Creek Golf Course is a "must play" for
any golf enthusiast.
Birch Creek is a mountainous design with amazing views and a consistent
hole-to-hole feel. "Every hole is a
signature hole here" the locals tout for
their beloved course.
Logan River is a relatively flat course with many water hazards and large
trees. The old feel makes this course a
beautiful contrast to the other courses in
the area. The Cache Valley offers
great golf courses and a cool breeze, visit
the area soon! |
